The statistics are staggering. As of 2017, in the United States alone, there are 29.6 million small businesses, employing 57.9 million employees. 99.9% of U.S. businesses are small businesses, that employ 47.8% of U.S. employees. (Statistics via SBA Office of Advocacy)
Small business is the lifeblood of America. Small business drives the economy, creates jobs, and supports our communities.
Having said all that, we must be purposeful in supporting small businesses.
